FAQ
Everything you need to know about using Polita
What is Polita?
Polita is a free cross-platform identity and app built around live content. Connect Twitch, Kick and YouTube to one Polita account so your friends, profile, badges, cosmetics, games, collections and progress stay together instead of being rebuilt on every platform. Open the full Polita pop-out app from the Polita logo in any supported platform header without leaving the stream.
What is the website for?
The website is where you create and fully configure your Polita account. Start in Settings → Connections to connect your other platforms to the same account, then manage your profile and settings, upload static or animated custom badges, create Name Paints, add the Polita chat bot and manage your connected identity from the website.
What is the extension app for?
The extension app is where the everyday Polita world lives. Sync and equip collected Twitch and Kick badges in Cosmetics; see live Twitch, Kick and Polita Drops, Mystery Packs and in-game rewards; see who's online; use Friends, Pings, notifications, global chat and communities; browse the Game Store; play Arcade games; use the Economy; and check collector, progression and global leaderboards.
Why do I need the extension?
The extension renders Polita across supported Twitch, Kick and YouTube chat. It is how you see Polita badges, synced collected badges, hover cards, Name Paints, themes and other supported chat identity cosmetics, and it adds the Polita logo to supported platform headers so you can open the app without leaving the stream.
Can I use Polita on Twitch, Kick and YouTube at the same time?
Yes. Connect each platform in Settings → Connections and they become part of the same Polita account. Your Polita profile, friends, collections, selected cosmetics, settings and supported progress are cloud synced so your identity can follow you across Twitch, Kick and YouTube.
Can I sync my Twitch and Kick badges?
Yes. Sync your Twitch and Kick badge collections into your Polita profile and use supported collected badges through your free cross-platform Polita badge slot across Twitch, Kick and YouTube. Drops also shows live Twitch, Kick and Polita badges, Mystery Packs and supported in-game rewards.
How do people see my badge?
Viewers need the Polita extension to see Polita's chat enhancements. With the extension installed, supported Twitch, Kick and YouTube chat can show your Polita badge, synced badge selection, hover cards, Name Paints, themes and other supported chat identity cosmetics.
Do I need to pay?
No. Polita's core experience is free forever with unlimited free usage. Supporting Polita is completely optional; supporter rewards are thank-you extras and do not replace or lock away the free core product.
